My Mission
It all started when I began wondering where all the tax dollars my parents were paying actually went. The town budget can be confusing and hard to understand. My goal is to make town finances simple for everyone. By turning the $191.8 million FY2026 budget into clear charts and a personal tax calculator, I want to help every resident see exactly where their tax dollars come from and how they are spent.
Why It Matters
Being open about the budget is just the start. The main goal of this dashboard is to get people involved. When residents know how the town spends its money, they can make their voices heard. I want to see more people going to Town Meetings, joining local groups, and voting on the issues that matter most.
Privacy
This site counts page visits so I can see which pages people find useful. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records only things like which page was viewed, the website that linked here, the country, and the type of device. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect your name, email, or any other personal information.
The Budget Challenge quiz is a Google Form, hosted by Google on its own site and covered by Google's privacy policy. It's anonymous: it doesn't ask for your name or email, and you don't need to sign in.
